Role Overview
Rawafid Industrial is looking for a seasoned ERP Transformation Lead to spearhead a comprehensive ERP transformation initiative across the enterprise. This leadership position involves redesigning and optimizing business processes and ensuring the successful deployment of an integrated ERP system spanning commercial, engineering, procurement, finance, project controls, and construction operations. The incumbent will collaborate extensively with senior executives, departmental heads, IT teams, and implementation partners to realize enduring business improvements via industry best practices and effective change management.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement the ERP transformation roadmap to align with company goals and long-term strategy.
- Oversee the analysis, reengineering, standardization, and enhancement of business workflows across departments to boost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Facilitate integration of processes related to commercial activities, engineering, procurement, project controls, finance, and operational management within the ERP solution.
- Set up and uphold governance models for business processes, master data, coding frameworks, and approval chains.
- Lead requirements elicitation, process documentation, and gap assessments supporting ERP design and deployment.
- Validate and sanction ERP functional designs including workflows, dashboards, reports, and security roles, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Advocate adoption of industry best practices by reducing system customizations and endorsing standardized processes.
- Control enterprise-wide master data governance covering projects, WBS, cost codes, customer and vendor records, inventory, equipment, personnel, and chart of accounts.
- Supervise data cleansing, migration, verification, and cutover processes to assure smooth ERP rollout.
- Manage System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and comprehensive business process validation to confirm solution quality and preparedness.
- Design and execute change management strategies to enhance user engagement and promote successful ERP utilization.
- Build and direct the Super User community and manage training initiatives to facilitate organizational knowledge transfer.
- Track transformation project risks, issues, and progress; escalate critical concerns to the ERP Steering Committee as needed.
- Generate executive-level dashboards and progress updates detailing schedule, budget, business readiness, risks, decisions, and transformation status.
- Evaluate organizational readiness for ERP launch and offer go-live recommendations.
- Lead post-implementation stabilization efforts, monitor user adoption, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Engage with the complete EPC project lifecycle including estimating, quantity surveying, procurement, engineering, project controls, construction, commercial management, finance, and project close-out.
- Play a leading role in at least one full ERP implementation cycle from requirements and design through to post-go-live support.
- Guide multi-disciplinary teams and partner with executive management, business stakeholders, IT, and external vendors to deliver enterprise transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Certified Quantity Surveyor credentials (e.g., MRICS, RICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor, AIQS, CIQS) or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, construction, or EPC sectors, with proven expertise in business process improvement, organizational transformation, ERP rollouts, or enterprise systems projects.
- Practical familiarity with ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, IFS, Infor, or Xpedeon.
- Comprehensive knowledge of business processes across engineering, procurement, project controls, commercial management, finance, and construction operations.
- Postgraduate degrees in Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems are advantageous.
- Certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, Prosci Change Management, CBPP, or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt are highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, communication, and change management capabilities.
