Role overview

This is a remote, contract-style opportunity supporting an AI research effort focused on financial analysis and investment reasoning. The work centers on helping train and assess AI systems that can read financial statements, interpret public company disclosures, and produce stronger equity research outputs.

You will use your background in equity research and SEC filings to review, validate, and improve financial content used in model training and evaluation. The assignment is fully remote, offers flexible hours, and is intended for experienced professionals who can contribute high-quality financial judgment.

Compensation

Pay is set at USD 120 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Check AI-produced financial analysis for correctness, completeness, and sound reasoning.
• Judge the strength of investment logic and the accuracy of financial interpretation.
• Write clear feedback that helps improve model quality.
• Read public company disclosures, including SEC filings and financial statements, and pull out relevant insights.
• Verify AI-generated summaries so they faithfully reflect the underlying financial data.
• Build realistic equity research scenarios for model training and evaluation.
• Help shape structured financial datasets and evaluation standards.
• Partner with AI researchers and financial experts to refine evaluation methods.
• Support consistent standards for investment analysis and financial reasoning.

Required experience and qualifications

Applicants should have at least 2 years of professional equity research experience from a recognized financial institution or investment firm. Hands-on familiarity with SEC filings such as annual reports, quarterly reports, and other public disclosures is essential.

Strong capability is expected in financial statement analysis, valuation, equity research methods, public market investing, and corporate financial reporting. The role also requires excellent written and verbal communication, strong analytical thinking, and a sharp eye for detail when reviewing complex financial information.

Preferred background

Additional value will come from prior work on equity research reports or investment recommendations, exposure to financial modeling and valuation techniques, and knowledge of capital markets, accounting principles, and corporate finance. Interest in AI, fintech, or AI-assisted investment research is also relevant, as is experience reviewing financial content or supporting quality assurance work.

Engagement details

This engagement is fully remote and operates as an independent contractor arrangement. Hours are flexible and can be completed on your own schedule, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week.

The initial term is at least 4 weeks, with possible extension depending on project requirements and performance. Payment is issued weekly through supported payment platforms after approved work is completed.
