About the Opportunity

Join Siemens in Singapore as an Equity Investment Intern and contribute to pioneering solutions that shape a better future. Siemens Bank GmbH Singapore Branch offers financing services focusing on energy transition and vital infrastructure across Asia and Australia. This role is a unique opportunity to gain direct experience in infrastructure and private equity investments within a dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct market and industry research relevant to Siemens technologies, including sectors like data centers, energy transition, and rail, focused on Asia-specific geographies.
  • Analyze macroeconomic and regulatory trends affecting infrastructure and private equity investments.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as market assessments driven by regional or global management teams.
  • Assist in screening and evaluating investment prospects through financial modeling, valuation (DCF, multiples), and preparation of internal approval materials.
  • Participate in due diligence activities, reviewing company documentation and coordinating with external advisors and internal stakeholders during deal execution.
  • Monitor portfolio company performance, update databases, and assist in reporting and performance reviews.
  • Collaborate extensively with investment professionals across Asia and liaise with headquarters in Europe.

Candidate Profile

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics with strong academic results.
  • Advanced capability with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
  • Solid grasp of corporate finance, valuation methods, and fundamentals of private equity or structured finance.
  • Excellent analytical skills with an ability to independently solve complex financial challenges in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, essential for reporting and cross-regional collaboration.
  • Interest or experience in transaction-related work, including infrastructure investments and cross-border deals.
  • Availability to commit at least six months starting from August 2026.
