Job description

Role overview

This role supports the scaling and improvement of global Employer of Record (EOR) operations within a fully distributed setup. You will design and refine end-to-end processes that make international hiring, payroll, and workforce administration run smoothly across several regions.

As a central connector across teams, you will work closely with operations, product, legal, finance, and customer-facing stakeholders to create alignment, remove friction, and turn plans into dependable execution. The position calls for strong analytical thinking, project leadership, and operational design ability in a dynamic, data-led environment.

You will also build scalable operating systems, strengthen delivery standards, and improve how complex workflows are managed. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who is comfortable with uncertainty and enjoys bringing structure to fast-changing global work.

Core accountabilities

  • Own cross-functional operational projects from initial definition through implementation, making sure the work is aligned, adopted, and delivers clear results.
  • Spot process bottlenecks and structural gaps in EOR operations, then shape practical solutions that improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary friction.
  • Create visibility and alignment across teams by managing interdependencies, priorities, risks, and decision-making approaches.
  • Build and improve operating routines such as workflows, escalation channels, intake processes, and documentation practices.
  • Review operational data and performance indicators to surface insights and propose concrete improvements.
  • Work with Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Operations to coordinate initiatives that span multiple functions.
  • Contribute to compliance, audit preparedness, and governance activities within EOR operational processes.
  • Look for ways to use AI and automation to increase operational speed, precision, and scalability.
  • Help ensure initiatives are executed consistently across regions and teams in a globally distributed environment.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in business operations, program or project management, operational excellence, or a similar cross-functional role.
  • Ability to take ambiguous, complex initiatives from problem definition through delivery and impact measurement.
  • Track record of working with multiple stakeholders and influencing outcomes without direct authority.
  • Experience working with operational metrics, reporting tools, and data-based decision-making, such as spreadsheets, dashboards, or analytics tools.
  • Strong written communication skills and comfort with structured, asynchronous collaboration.
  • Evidence of improving processes, systems, or workflows in prior roles.
  • Comfort using AI tools to improve productivity, analysis, and operational design.
  • Strong organization, ownership, initiative, and prioritization skills in fast-moving environments.
  • Judgment to balance speed and quality while assessing trade-offs and risks.
  • Prior experience in global or distributed environments is a strong plus.

Benefits and perks

  • Fully remote, global-first work setup with the flexibility to work from anywhere.
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and market benchmarks.
  • Flexible working hours and an async-first culture that supports work-life balance.
  • Generous paid time off and parental leave.
  • Learning and development budget for professional growth.
  • Support for home office setup and equipment.
  • Mental health and wellbeing support.
  • Stock options and long-term incentive plans, depending on the role.
  • Opportunity to contribute to high-impact global operations shaping international employment.

Application and hiring process

This opening is shared on behalf of a partner company, which handles all applications and subsequent hiring steps. Applications are reviewed through an AI-supported matching process that helps identify candidates against the role’s core requirements before a shortlist is passed to the hiring company. The partner company makes the final decision and manages interviews and assessments.

Privacy and AI notice

By applying, you acknowledge that your personal data may be processed to assess your candidacy and shared with the hiring employer under applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. This processing relies on legitimate interest and pre-contractual measures. You may request access, correction, deletion, or objection at any time.

AI tools may also be used to support parts of the hiring workflow, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or checking responses for consistency and verification signals. These tools assist recruiters but do not replace human judgment, and the final hiring decision remains with people.
