Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced English language curriculum specialist to join a fast-moving team in Tiruchirappalli. The role is centered on building high-quality learning content for IELTS and TOEFL preparation, with a strong focus on instructional quality, exam alignment, and learner engagement.

In this position, you will create effective teaching materials that match exam requirements and support learners with different skill levels and learning needs.

Curriculum Development

• Develop end-to-end curricula for IELTS and TOEFL preparation programs.
• Keep all material closely aligned with official exam formats and current best practices in teaching and learning.

Content and Media Creation

• Create learning assets such as lesson plans, study resources, and interactive multimedia content.
• Organize content in a way that encourages participation, retention, and active learning.

Assessment Design

• Prepare accurate diagnostic tests, quizzes, and full-length mock exams.
• Build clear grading rubrics to measure learner progress and proficiency.

Quality Assurance

• Review, audit, and refresh existing course materials on a regular basis.
• Ensure content stays pedagogically sound, current with exam updates, and effective for learners.

Research and Innovation

• Track changes in English teaching methods, industry trends, and education technology tools.
• Bring in modern digital techniques and interactive approaches to strengthen the curriculum.

Team Collaboration

• Coordinate with senior curriculum specialists, subject matter experts, and instructional designers to keep learning products consistent and high quality.
• Prepare training notes, guidance, and continuing support for instructors and delivery teams.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Education, English Literature, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in English teaching and curriculum development, especially for IELTS and TOEFL preparation.
• Strong knowledge of IELTS and TOEFL exam formats, including rubrics, band descriptors, content requirements, and scoring methods.
• Solid instructional design ability and familiarity with modern edtech tools, including LMS platforms and interactive content builders.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills, excellent organization, and the ability to manage multiple project timelines at once.
• A collaborative mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
