Training and support
The employer provides comprehensive induction training, mentoring, ready-to-use lesson materials, in-class coaching, and continued support throughout the role. Teachers also receive skill development opportunities and career-growth guidance.
Compensation and benefits
Employees receive a competitive salary along with a performance bonus after 6 months. The package also includes 21 days of paid leave, consisting of 10 days of paid leave plus 11 statutory holidays, a flight allowance, co-paid international health insurance, airport pick-up support, and a sponsored legal Z work visa. Up to 2 weeks of sponsored hotel stay is included, and legal work-permit support is provided. Visa-related expenses for the sponsored Z visa are reimbursed. Additional benefits include a TEFL certificate, access to distance-learning courses such as Level 6 Trinity College CertPT and DELTM, company-organized social and cultural activities, and free Mandarin Chinese lessons.
Eligibility and candidate profile
This role suits applicants with a bachelor’s degree in any field, a valid passport, a clean background check, and a strong interest in education, travel, and cultural exchange. ESL qualifications such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA are helpful, but the company can sponsor training for suitable candidates. The opportunity is open to graduates, entry-level candidates, and people changing careers.
Additional information
The first two weeks of hotel accommodation are treated as part of the sponsorship arrangement once the first-year contract is completed. The company has more than 30 years of experience in China, operates over 200 schools across 50+ cities, and also has a strong presence in Indonesia. Teachers are positioned as a central part of the organisation, and the role offers room for professional development and advancement.
