Overview

This position focuses on the strict application of Breath Analyzer (BA) testing protocols to uphold safety and compliance standards according to DGCA CAR guidelines within an airport environment. The role demands detailed record keeping, timely communication, and flexible support to operational requirements, including shift work and emergency duties.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform all Breath Analyzer testing by meticulously following established SOPs and DGCA regulatory sections.
• Ensure that testing is continuously monitored via CCTV to guarantee transparency and facilitate audits.
• Track any delays in testing and notify respective departments immediately for swift resolution.
• Maintain thorough and precise documentation of all test activities in designated registers and centralized Excel databases.
• Restrict corrections in records; when necessary, ensure amendments are countersigned to preserve data integrity for audits.
• Promptly inform concerned teams about staff delays in BA testing and communicate positive test results without delay per escalation procedures.
• Report monthly stationery needs and inventory status to the designated reporting officer.
• Provide operational support by adapting to alternate duties as business demands arise and assist in maintaining safety standards.
• Work in an airport operational setting, including night shifts and readiness to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certification as EMT, Paramedic, Nurse, or equivalent medical qualification.
• Experience in medical assistance, Breath Analyzer testing, or safety operations, preferably within aviation or ground handling sectors.

The role ensures adherence to DGCA CAR mandates related to Breath Analyzer testing for personnel involved in safety-critical functions within ground operations.
