About the role
Silver Fern Farms Takapau is looking for an Employment Coordinator to join its busy and experienced team. This is a varied, fast-moving position focused on supporting strong employment practices across the site and coordinating people-related projects and activities, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding.
The right person will be trusted by others, stay calm as priorities change, and provide high-quality support to managers, applicants, and employees while helping improve service delivery over time.
What you will do
- Coordinate and support recruitment, selection, and onboarding activities.
- Help implement and maintain effective employment practices on site.
- Deliver people-focused initiatives and related site activities.
- Work closely with managers, employees, and applicants to provide responsive support.
- Identify opportunities to improve service, systems, and processes.
- Assist with promoting the site and presenting to groups where needed.
About you
Silver Fern Farms is seeking someone with prior experience in HR or recruitment who brings energy, commitment, and a strong service mindset. You should be comfortable working across changing priorities, building relationships, and using systems and social media as part of the role.

- Strong organisational and planning ability.

- Able to work collaboratively across all levels of the business and help streamline processes that support skills and technical development based on business needs.
