About the Role

A internationally recognized bank in Riyadh seeks a skilled Employee Relations Manager to oversee employee relations functions within the financial services sector. This role is critical in managing workplace investigations, upholding Saudi labor law compliance, and advising managers on complex employee matters to foster a fair and law-abiding workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead workplace investigations involving disciplinary issues, grievances, misconduct, and whistleblowing complaints.
  • Conduct thorough interviews, gather relevant evidence, prepare detailed investigation reports, and handle cases confidentially and fairly.
  • Provide expert advice to managers and HR teams in accordance with Saudi labor legislation, internal policies, and best practices.
  • Manage grievance procedures and resolve labor disputes from initial filing through to settlement.
  • Support processes related to disciplinary hearings, employee appeals, and formal meetings.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive employee relations cases appropriately.
  • Maintain meticulous records of cases and compile regular reports on employee relations activities, trends, and key performance metrics.
  • Identify recurring issues to suggest improvements that lower employee relations risk.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures align with Saudi labor laws and regulatory standards.
  • Deliver training and continuous guidance to managers on employee relations procedures and compliance.
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with business stakeholders to provide pragmatic and commercially aligned employee relations counsel.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five years of experience specializing in employee relations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Saudi Labor Law, labor disputes, investigations, and reporting protocols.
  • KSA nationals only are eligible to apply.
  • At least a bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
  • Prior experience within the financial services industry is mandatory.
