About the Role
The Employee Relations Business Partner at Meta plays a crucial role within the Global Employee Relations team, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for employees across the EMEA region. This position emphasizes empathy and respect to enhance individual employee experiences while supporting the core business. The role involves managing complex employee relations issues including performance management, redundancies, complaints, investigations, and conflict resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a diverse portfolio of sensitive employee relations cases such as investigations, disciplinary processes, and performance issues across various EMEA business units.
- Deliver strategic employee relations advice and partner closely with business leaders and people managers, providing coaching and thought leadership at all organizational levels.
- Identify team and manager developmental needs, recommend improvements, and implement effective solutions.
- Analyze employee relations data rigorously to detect trends and proactively reduce reactive cases.
- Balance risk considerations from employee, business, and company perspectives to inform decision-making.
- Design and conduct training sessions for managers based on data-driven insights.
- Collaborate extensively with HR functions including HR Business Partners, Legal, Learning & Development, and HR Programs to scale solutions efficiently.
- Engage with regional HR partners to align with global strategies and execute initiatives across the region.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate complex projects impacting the region or client groups.
- Contribute as a key member of the extended HR community by leading projects and influencing organizational stakeholders.
- Develop collaborative and productive stakeholder relationships built on trust and transparent communication.
- Foster internal community building through respect, mentorship, onboarding support, and teamwork.
- Participate actively in interviewing and onboarding new hires to the team.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 8 years in employee relations, HR business partnering, or related roles.
- Strong judgment and experience assessing risk linked to business contexts.
- Excellent communication skills combined with critical thinking and empathy.
- Proven capabilities in project and change management.
- Adept at adapting to dynamic environments and building cross-team relationships.
- Skilled in using data analytics to extract insights driving proactive actions.
- Experience working within global or matrix organizations and helping them scale.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic problem-solving, consulting, coaching, and facilitating management discussions on employee relations.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience integrating AI tools to redesign workflows for efficiency and quality improvements.
- Continual development of AI-related skills such as prompt engineering and orchestration, and familiarity with emerging AI trends.
- Commitment to responsible and ethical AI use including risk assessment and bias reduction.
- Proficiency in Hebrew language.
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, Business Administration or a related discipline.
