Job description
Role overview
Vertiv is hiring an EMEA Plant Recruitment Manager to oversee high-volume hiring for manufacturing sites across the EMEA region. The role sits within a multi-site environment and involves regular travel across plant locations in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Croatia, Italy, and Slovakia. The position reports to the EMEA TA Head and requires on-site presence.
This is a leadership role focused on delivering predictable hiring outcomes at scale. You will work closely with Plant Leadership, HR, and Operations to translate demand forecasts into practical recruitment plans and ensure hiring keeps pace with changing business needs.
The company is seeking someone with deep manufacturing recruitment experience rather than a generalist recruitment background. A strong understanding of plant operating rhythms and the ability to turn SIOP and demand signals into execution plans is essential.
Key responsibilities
You will lead regional plant hiring delivery across hourly, skilled trades, technical, and selected salaried manufacturing roles. The role also involves building governance around hiring, maintaining a regular weekly delivery cadence, and planning ahead on a monthly basis.
You will partner with plant and operations stakeholders to convert SIOP and demand data into actionable hiring plans, while adjusting priorities as operational needs shift. A major part of the role is managing and developing a team of 6 recruiters spread across EMEA, including coaching, performance support, and priority setting across multiple countries.
The position also requires creating scalable sourcing strategies for operators, technicians, skilled trades, and engineering talent through direct sourcing, referrals, community partnerships, and local networks. In addition, you will oversee a hybrid resourcing model that may include internal recruiters, contractors, and external partners, ensuring the approach remains cost-effective and high quality.
Another important responsibility is standardizing plant recruiting practices across sites by improving workflows, strengthening candidate experience, and driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
The role requires proven manufacturing or plant hiring leadership experience, with direct ownership of delivery in plant environments. Candidates must have a track record of succeeding in fast-moving, high-volume hiring with measurable results.
You should be able to work with SIOP or demand forecasting and convert that into hiring execution through structured cadence, planning, and prioritization. Strong stakeholder leadership skills are needed to influence Plant and Operations leaders and keep momentum under pressure.
The role calls for comfort with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities. Highly desirable experience includes working with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar process improvement methods, along with improving recruiting workflows through metrics, root-cause analysis, and operational discipline.
How to apply
Applicants are expected to submit a CV or resume in English. The application should highlight the scale of manufacturing or plant hiring leadership, including sites, volumes, and role families, as well as how SIOP or demand forecasting has been used to manage hiring delivery.
