About the Role

We are seeking an ELV Engineer who is ready to join immediately and holds a valid UAE visa. The role involves the execution of installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and handover of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time while meeting quality, safety, and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out ELV system installation, conduct testing, handle commissioning, troubleshoot issues, and perform system integration leading to final handover.
  • Examine drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), specifications, and shop drawings to verify accurate and precise implementation.
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and material suppliers while managing site teams.
  • Generate material requisitions, inspection requests, technical reports, and prepare as-built documentation for project completion.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) norms, Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards, and local regulatory requirements, while resolving technical challenges to avoid schedule delays.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience managing ELV projects, ideally within the UAE or GCC market, successfully delivering commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Fire Alarm, Public Address (PA), Intercom, Building Management System (BMS), ICT Infrastructure, SMATV, and integrated security solutions.
  • Practical hands-on expertise in installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and system integration of ELV systems.
  • Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings, BOQs, project specifications, and related documentation.
  • Experienced in coordinating with diverse stakeholders such as clients, consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Sound knowledge of HSE protocols, QA/QC procedures, local authority regulations, and preparation of technical reports.
  • Excellent communication, analytical problem-solving, organizational skills, with a strong focus on quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and adhering to project timelines.
