Dornan Engineering Group is an internationally recognized engineering contractor engaged in delivering high-value projects across Europe, the UK, and Ireland. Currently expanding, Dornan is looking for skilled Electricians to join their team based in Limerick to support a pharmaceutical project.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

As a qualified Electrician, you will be an integral part of Dornan's dynamic and ambitious project teams. Your typical duties will include installing electrical services, setting up cable trays and containment systems, pulling and terminating cables, working on earthing systems, glanding and terminating steel wire, and installing lighting and small power systems.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated experience as an Electrician in engineering, construction, or MEP sectors.
• Hands-on experience working on construction, pharmaceutical, or industrial projects.
• Ability to install power distribution systems and manage cable routing, tray installation, trunking, and containment.
• Proficient in conduit and wiring installation.
• Comply strictly with site safety protocols and permit-to-work systems.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and maintain safety in hazardous environments.
• Consistent use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safely isolating electrical circuits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work on industrial, commercial, or pharmaceutical sites.

Qualifications

• Essential Electrical Craft Certificate.
• Required certifications include Safe Pass, Manual Handling, Working at Heights, and IPAF.
