Electrical Technician – After Sales (Power Generation)

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to join our After Sales team located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working on diesel generator electrical systems (Gensets) at various customer locations to ensure uninterrupted and efficient generator operations.

Key Duties

• Conduct preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on diesel generators.
• Identify and resolve electrical issues in generators, control panels, and related systems.
• Responsible for generator installation, commissioning, testing, and starting procedures.
• Inspect electrical parts of generators to maintain optimal functionality.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
• Utilize electrical diagnostic and testing equipment effectively to troubleshoot.
• Document service activities and maintenance records after each job completion.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and quality requirements at all times.
• Provide technical advice and maintenance guidance to clients.
• Travel as needed to customer sites in the region.

Candidate Requirements

• Hold a diploma or technical certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or an equivalent field.
• At least three years of hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting diesel generators.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical generator systems including control panels, ATS, AVR, and protective devices.
• Ability to read and understand technical electrical drawings and schematics.
• Proficient in using electrical diagnostic instruments and tools.
• Strong communication skills with good customer service orientation.
• Basic proficiency in English communication.
• Valid driving license is an advantage.
• Willing to work additional hours, including weekends if necessary.
