About the Company

We are representing a client seeking to appoint an Electrical Estimator based in Limerick, County Limerick, Ireland.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

  • Conduct tendering activities on a wide range of substantial projects throughout Ireland.
  • Manage the entire tendering lifecycle from initiation through to completion.
  • Possess experience in an electrical contracting environment, preferably with exposure to industrial-type projects.
  • Produce precise take-offs and estimates by thoroughly analyzing drawings, specifications, and related documents.
  • Review tender documentation to formulate queries and propose value engineering alternatives.
  • Participate in pre-tender and post-tender meetings to align project expectations.
  • Coordinate the tendering process across various departments ensuring timely submission of tenders.
  • Conduct handover meetings with operations teams when projects are awarded.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively as part of an integrated team.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Possession of a relevant third-level qualification.
  • A minimum of four years’ post-qualification experience, ideally within an electrical contracting setting.
  • Excellent communication capabilities and strong time management skills are mandatory.
  • High attention to detail and the capacity to perform under strict deadlines are essential.
