Job description
Role Overview
The Electrical Engineering Intern within the Technical Service team will gain comprehensive practical experience. We are looking for a motivated and collaborative intern responsible for driving improvements in overall equipment effectiveness, product yield, cost efficiency, and cycle times to ensure seamless production processes and support Tesla’s state-of-the-art manufacturing technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a centralized library for machine electrical documentation and protocols.
- Assist in deploying maintenance strategies for machinery and equipment.
- Innovate data analysis techniques aimed at predictive maintenance.
- Investigate breakdowns and diagnose electrical malfunctions.
- Aid senior electrical engineers in adhering to German regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to planning special maintenance tasks and corrective repairs.
- Support supervisors in organizing electrical skill development for the team.
- Collaborate across functional teams to enhance maintenance organizational and technical processes.
- Help improve preventative maintenance procedures and workflows.
Candidate Profile
- Currently pursuing or completing a degree in Electrical or related Engineering fields.
- Preferable experience with E-Plan software.
- Familiarity with PLC systems is an advantage.
- Good command of spoken and written English and/or German.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
