Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a proficient Electrical Engineer to join our sublimation paper coating manufacturing facility. The role involves maintaining electrical systems, troubleshooting equipment failures, programming Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and ensuring the continuous operation of production machinery.
Responsibilities
- Perform programming, parameter configuration, and troubleshooting of VFDs.
- Maintain and repair AC/DC motors, control panels, and electrical circuits.
- Handle installation and troubleshooting of Direct-On-Line (DOL) starters, Star-Delta starters, contactors, relays, and Motor Control Center (MCC) panels.
- Manage sensors and instrumentation including proximity, photoelectric, temperature, pressure, and level sensors.
- Diagnose electrical issues swiftly to reduce downtime in production.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery.
- Ensure optimal operation of electrical control systems and automation equipment.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to maintain seamless plant operations.
- Adhere to electrical safety regulations and document maintenance activities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering, or Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering.
- 2 to 5 years of industrial experience in manufacturing.
- Practical knowledge in VFD programming and parameter setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of industrial motors, starters (DOL and Star-Delta), sensors, and instrumentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with PLCs is preferred.
