Position Overview

This full-time onsite position based in Jaipur requires an EEG Technician responsible for conducting routine and specialized electroencephalogram recordings. Core duties involve preparing patients, placing electrodes accurately, monitoring during procedures, and documenting findings, including recognizing artifacts or irregular patterns. The technician will assist physicians in diagnosing epilepsy and other neurological disorders while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety and infection control guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out EEG recordings by preparing patients and applying electrodes with precision.
• Observe and document EEG signals, identifying any artifacts or unusual activity.
• Collaborate with neurologists and clinical staff to support diagnostic evaluations.
• Maintain and ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of EEG equipment.
• Follow established clinical safety and infection control protocols strictly.
• Record detailed and accurate procedural information and patient responses.
• Communicate professionally and empathetically with patients and their families throughout the procedure.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven understanding and hands-on experience of EEG procedures and equipment operation.
• Knowledge of epilepsy and seizure disorders to aid precise recording and observation.
• Educational background in medicine, allied health, neurophysiology, or related fields.
• Certifications or diplomas in EEG technology, neurodiagnostic technology, or willingness to obtain such credentials.
• Strong attention to clinical detail, adherence to protocols, and accurate recordkeeping.
• Ability to function well within a multidisciplinary clinical team in a dynamic healthcare setting.
• Basic proficiency with computers for electronic health records and generating diagnostic reports.
• Prior experience in hospital or clinical environments is beneficial.
