Position Summary

We are currently seeking an eCommerce Manager (all genders) for our Faber-Castell AG location in Stein bei Nürnberg. This role falls within our Corporate Internet division and involves driving the growth and enhancement of our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) online shop and broader online marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and constantly improve the DTC online shop focusing on merchandising, navigation, product display, conversion rates, and customer journey quality.
  • Plan and execute multichannel online marketing activities, including paid media, SEO/GEO strategies, CRM, and lifecycle marketing campaigns.
  • Lead performance marketing efforts by analyzing key performance indicators, conducting A/B testing, and implementing improvements based on data insights.
  • Manage and develop marketplace activities, such as product listings, advertising strategies, performance control, and adherence to platform policies.
  • Create an integrated cross-channel strategy aligning the DTC shop, marketplaces, and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners to continually enhance user experience, content quality, and commercial success.

Required Qualifications

  • A completed degree in business administration, online marketing, or a related field.
  • Several years of professional experience in e-commerce, particularly with DTC online shops, marketplaces, onsite marketing, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Strong expertise in content management systems (CMS), performance marketing, and paid media.
  • Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), reporting tools, and Excel.
  • Robust project management and organizational abilities with proven experience handling diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AI tools alongside very good command of German and English.
