Role overview
Woolworths Group is hiring an eCom Operations Specialist in Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on keeping an assigned online operations stream running smoothly, accurately, and in line with company standards.
Working hours
The roster for this position is:
- Sunday: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Monday: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Tuesday: 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM
- Wednesday: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Thursday: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Key duties
- Oversee the day-to-day flow of work for the allocated stream and make sure processes stay on track.
- Partner closely with the Team Leader and coordinate with the wider swarm to keep work moving efficiently.
- Maintain uninterrupted completion of tasks while following all defined procedures and standards.
- Support correct online order picking and help ensure fresh food quality remains within required expectations.
- Lead the swarm during shifts, coach team members on the job, and step in as Acting Store Manager when scheduled.
- Spot process issues early and escalate them promptly to the Function Lead for resolution.
- Promote a strong safety culture by following health and safety rules, reporting hazards, and supporting team wellbeing.
- Take part in communication and collaboration activities that strengthen team performance and morale.

Additional information
