Job description
About the role
Figma is expanding a team of creative, builder-minded people focused on making design more accessible to everyone. The company’s platform supports teams from the first idea all the way to product delivery, helping them brainstorm, prototype, convert designs into code, and iterate with AI. Figma’s tools are designed to help teams move quickly, collaborate in real time, and work from anywhere.
The Early Career team is looking for someone to help identify, develop, and hire the next wave of talent and future leaders at Figma. In this position, you will own recruiting work end to end across early career hiring, including software engineering, data science, and data engineering, while collaborating with hiring managers, program partners, and recruiting teammates to strengthen and scale early career hiring.
This is a full-time position that may be based in one of Figma’s US hub offices or performed remotely within the United States.
What you'll do
- Run the complete recruiting process for interns and full-time candidates while delivering a consistent and high-quality candidate experience.
- Design inventive and inclusive hiring approaches to attract, assess, and secure strong early career candidates across the company.
- Work closely with leaders and hiring managers supporting both technical and non-technical hiring pipelines.
- Increase candidate engagement by planning and delivering in-person and virtual events with key stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships across partner teams, including Data Science, Engineering, and People functions such as Workplace, Onboarding, BEI, and Business Partners.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in early career recruiting and related programs, along with a strong understanding of the early career hiring lifecycle.
- A demonstrated record of building inclusive practices across early career recruiting efforts.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through reliably across recruiting cycles.
- Experience owning full-cycle recruiting for both technical and non-technical positions, from sourcing and pipeline building through offer close.
- Background in driving engagement through in-person and virtual recruiting events, including planning and execution.
- Ability to partner with hiring managers on role expectations, candidate profiles, and hiring decisions across technical and non-technical areas.
- Willingness and ability to travel for campus, regional, and Figma hub events.
Nice to have
Experience with Figma and FigJam is considered an advantage, though it is not required.
