Job description

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and performance-oriented E-commerce Assistant Manager or Manager to spearhead revenue growth on platforms such as TikTok and KrisShop. This position holds complete responsibility for sales outcomes, live streaming initiatives, and content-driven commerce strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial insight, a structured approach to execution, and the ability to operate autonomously while fostering collaboration with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead sales and operational activities across key e-commerce marketplace channels in Singapore, specifically TikTok and KrisShop.
  • Implement performance marketing strategies to maximize sales and achieve exceptional Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team on online content for TikTok.
  • Manage platform operations using Seller Centre and execute necessary initiatives.
  • Leverage affiliate marketing, live streaming, broadcasting features, and feed posts to optimize campaign tool utilization.
  • Liaise with platform Key Account Managers (KAMs) to strategize campaigns, secure additional visibility, and manage co-funded vouchers.
  • Regularly monitor, analyze, and interpret data to generate insights for effective business decisions and strategies aimed at enhancing store performance.
  • Provide recommendations for e-commerce marketplace stores, coordinating store layout, design, and communication messages in alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives to boost sales, improve customer experience, and grow membership.
  • Oversee the management of the e-commerce marketing budget and operational expenses in conjunction with the performance marketing team.
  • Work closely with content creators, livestream hosts, and affiliates to produce sales-focused content.
  • Deliver clear briefs, performance expectations, and constructive feedback to creators.
  • Actively engage and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders to develop, plan, and execute various campaigns, ensuring timely and accurate communication to meet set goals.
  • Forecast sales by integrating cross-departmental metrics with the Head of Sales and secure inventory with demand planners.
  • Possess knowledge of logistics planning and execution.
  • Stay informed about market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and consumer trends to refine sales and marketing strategies.
  • Generate regular performance reports for assigned e-commerce stores.

Education and Experience

  • A Diploma or Degree, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in e-commerce operations or managing online brand stores, with a preference for experience in the FMCG or consumer electronics sectors.
  • Proven experience working closely with online platform KAMs, ideally with Joint Business Plans (JBPs) established with platforms.
  • Essential experience in managing e-retailers such as Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong understanding of business principles and e-commerce dynamics.
  • Proficient project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with live streaming hosting operations and coordination.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a keen eye for detail.
  • Advanced analytical and data mining skills.
  • A customer-centric mindset, demonstrating a solid grasp of consumer behavior, brand management, and shopper marketing.
  • Excellent analytical skills using Excel and a deep understanding of platform-specific sales tools.
  • Superior negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Good knowledge of retail sales and brand management principles.
  • Understanding of Customer Experience (CX) and User Experience (UX) to drive improvements.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
