About the Role
This position is focused on owning the end-to-end Shopify store experience. It is not a web development or coding role; the store will be built on an existing Shopify theme/template. The right candidate will be responsible for setting up, managing, and scaling the website as a business channel, combining store operations, search visibility, and performance marketing to help grow e-commerce sales.
What You Will Do
The role spans two phases: initial setup and ongoing management.
- Configure the Shopify store using the chosen theme or template.
- Add and structure products, including images, descriptions, pricing, and variants.
- Organize collections, menu navigation, and the basic customer journey.
- Use AI-based tools to speed up content creation, product copy, and layout decisions.
- Connect Shopify with Vyapar so inventory data stays aligned.
- Set up payment methods, shipping settings, and essential store policies.
- Test the complete order flow before the store goes live.
- Handle daily website operations such as orders, content updates, and product changes.
- Maintain inventory consistency between Shopify and Vyapar.
- Coordinate order processing and support a smooth customer experience.
- Improve product pages to boost conversion through stronger images, copy, and layout.
- Track site performance and recommend practical improvements.
- Support launches, promotional offers, and seasonal updates.
- Identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and take responsibility for resolving them.
- Manage Google visibility, including basic SEO work such as site structure, product keywords, metadata, and organic search performance.
- Plan and run Meta Ads campaigns, including audience selection, budget control, and performance reporting.
Requirements
- Previous experience working on Shopify stores, either in setup or ongoing management.
- Hands-on experience building or managing a live website, preferably on Shopify or a similar platform.
- A portfolio with past work is required, and live links are preferred.
- A strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently.
- Comfort using AI tools to improve efficiency and output speed.
- Understanding of e-commerce operations, including orders, inventory, and customer experience.
- Highly organized, detail-focused, dependable, and proactive.
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and how to improve organic visibility.
- Practical experience with Meta Ads Manager for campaign setup, audience targeting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to read campaign data and suggest improvements.

The role is based in Kochi, Kerala, India and follows a full-time, onsite work setup. No coding or development work is expected in this position; the priority is store ownership, execution, and business growth.
