Dyeing Shift Officer

Overview

The Dyeing Shift Officer position involves overseeing the dyeing process during assigned shifts at our manufacturing facility. The role ensures that production schedules are successfully met while maintaining stringent quality standards and adhering to safety regulations. This role requires hands-on technical knowledge of textile dyeing operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all dyeing activities during the allocated shift to meet production objectives.
• Ensure production timelines and output targets are consistently achieved.
• Monitor dyeing procedures closely to uphold product quality, making process adjustments as necessary.
• Operate and oversee dyeing machinery and equipment, ensuring they function efficiently and receive proper maintenance.
• Establish and enforce workplace safety guidelines to maintain a secure environment for all employees.
• Collaborate with Quality Control and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges while enhancing process efficiency.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of production performance, machine downtime, and other pertinent metrics.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Textile Processing or Chemistry.
• At least 1 to 5 years of practical experience in dyeing operations within the textile industry.

Skills and Abilities

• Comprehensive knowledge of textile dyeing techniques, chemical applications, and dyeing machinery including CCM methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work well with team members and other departments.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-moving and dynamic manufacturing environment.
