The current project is the Expo 2030 Riyadh, a major global event promoting sustainable development, innovation, and transformational ideas. The 6 km² master plan encompasses a comprehensive design for participation and infrastructure, including utilities and public spaces like streets and parks. Post-event, the site will transform into a mixed-use legacy development adhering to international sustainability standards.
Role Summary
This opening is for a Document Management Technician to support the Expo 2030 project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Project Document Manager, this role involves handling document management tasks, ensuring adherence to governance policies, and supporting project teams with administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Use the project's Electronic Content Management System (ECMS) to register, control, distribute, transmit, file, and archive project documents efficiently.
- Conduct Aconex software training sessions for project members and partner organizations.
- Communicate clearly with project teams, clients, and onsite personnel to ensure alignment with quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Assist in quality assurance audits, internal and external technical reviews, and client audits.
- Prepare routine documentation and reports using word processors, spreadsheets, and other office software to support project activities.
- Participate in supplier kickoff meetings as needed and stay updated on departmental technologies and methodologies.
- Operate standard office and automation equipment proficiently and provide guidance on automated document management tools.
- Perform other general administrative tasks as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 5 years recent experience (within the last 3 years) in document management or document control, preferably in construction or engineering contexts.
- Proficient in office software such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word; proficiency assessments may be conducted.
- Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to collaborate effectively across organizational levels.
- Adaptability to changing work priorities and willingness to work overtime on short notice.
- Experience with Aconex, including document workflows and management, is required.
