Role Summary

The Divisional President will act as the strategic leader for one of the company’s portfolio businesses, shaping direction, driving growth, and strengthening operational performance. This remote position calls for ownership of long-term planning, oversight of portfolio results, and evaluation of potential acquisitions or partnership opportunities. The role also requires close coordination with founders, senior leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure business plans, budgets, and resource decisions support organizational priorities.

Core Duties

On a day-to-day basis, the position involves running executive-level discussions, analyzing financial and operating reports, identifying and managing business risks, and reinforcing strong governance and compliance practices. The Divisional President will also serve as a visible representative of the organization with investors, partners, and community stakeholders, while helping build a culture centered on accountability, innovation, and inclusive leadership.

Qualifications

Applicants should bring senior executive experience, preferably having served as a President, CEO, or in a comparable role within a holding company, multi-entity business, or private equity setting. A strong background in strategic planning, business expansion, and mergers and acquisitions or portfolio oversight is important, along with a history of delivering durable growth. The role also requires solid financial judgment, including budgeting, P&L responsibility, performance tracking, and capital allocation.

Success in this position depends on the ability to develop trusted relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and cross-functional leadership teams. Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment. Experience supporting both startups and established organizations, and comfort with changing market conditions and complex structures, will be valuable. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field is required; an MBA or another advanced degree is an advantage but not mandatory. Candidates should also demonstrate a clear commitment to ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory leadership.
