Role Overview

We are seeking a Food Disponent for our Kleinmachnow market location, responsible for managing product assortment, inventory, and supplier relationships in the food sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and monitor new products and trends in the food sector to ensure a fresh, target-group-oriented product range.
• Participate actively in developing and expanding the product assortment.
• Handle demand and inventory planning by considering product availability, turnover rates, and waste reduction.
• Monitor stock levels, minimum quantities, and warehouse coverage periods to prevent shortages or excesses.
• Track open orders closely and coordinate proactively with suppliers and industry partners.
• Oversee goods receipt inspections, return processing, and conduct regular stock audits to maintain quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage warehouse and shelving organization, including reviewing and improving storage and display locations.
• Support the implementation of efficient placement and logistics solutions for product flow optimization.
• Acquire and maintain industry partner relationships for promotions, events, and campaigns.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers, local stores, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Completed commercial training or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience in purchasing, logistics, or stocking, preferably within the food wholesale industry.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills coupled with enthusiasm for food market trends.
• Confident communication skills and professional demeanor when engaging with industry contacts.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems (ideally SAP) and Microsoft Office suite.
• German language skills at least at B2 level, both spoken and written.
