Job Overview

This role involves overseeing internal warehouse activities to ensure efficient stock management and workforce allocation. The dispatcher must coordinate stock control, monitor order preparation, and support invoicing operations to maintain smooth logistical flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for shift handover, including briefing on pending duties.
• Manage loading and unloading procedures within Warehouse Management System and communicate with storekeepers accordingly.
• Modify delivery schedules within the Dispatch Planning System and assign tasks to laborers.
• Inspect stock during loading for discrepancies such as incorrect labels, missing or surplus cases, and empty pallets; report abnormalities promptly.
• Conduct daily physical inventories to reconcile stock records and inform store supervisors.
• Ensure hygiene standards are met by following a defined checklist and processes.
• Work closely with forklift operators to rearrange stock, adhering to FIFO inventory methodology.
• Complete shift handover by providing instructions and status updates to incoming team.
• Maintain warehouse equipment, ensure correct usage, and document routine maintenance activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in Environment, Health, Safety (EHS), and Quality Food Safety (QFS) management systems, complying with legislation and PepsiCo standards.

Additional Advantage: Possession of a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) license is beneficial to assist with operations during absence of PIT operators.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a supply chain position with cross-functional duties, ideally within an FMCG environment.
• Experience in labor-intensive settings is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent in any discipline.
• Self-driven with strong initiative to identify and implement corrective measures.
• Excellent communication capabilities.
• Competence in managing multiple labor functions simultaneously.
• Problem-solving skills with flexible and systematic approach.
• Good understanding of planning and cross-department collaboration.
