Role Summary

The Dispatch Operative is tasked with managing customer order fulfillment by ensuring goods are accurately loaded and unloaded at designated locations. This role involves operating forklift and scanning equipment to maintain traceability and audit compliance for inbound and outbound consignments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support overall production and dispatch of customer orders efficiently.
• Operate forklift machinery to pick, pack, and move goods appropriately.
• Work effectively within chilled and ambient temperature environments.
• Collaborate within a team to maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Keep the workplace clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Maintain strict adherence to Health and Safety protocols.
• Meet targets and performance standards as established by the Shift Manager.
• Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in work assignments.
• Carry out reasonable instructions from the Shift Manager as required.
• Perform repetitive tasks involving light, medium, and heavy lifting.

Candidate Requirements

• Proficient in English with essential literacy and numeracy skills.
• Forklift operation experience and certification preferred.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Physical fitness sufficient for handling manual lifting demands.
• Ability to function well within a team dynamic.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Available to work evening shifts as required.
• Must have personal transportation due to variable shift patterns.
