Dispatch Coordinator / Dispatcher with Hybrid Work Arrangement

Overview

The Regional Dispatch Coordinator I is an essential part of a regional operations team focused on efficient scheduling, loading assistance, and inventory oversight for full truckload (FTL) deliveries at Mansfield Energy Corp. This role involves maintaining suitable fuel levels in customer-managed tanks, optimizing delivery scheduling to maximize efficiency, and aligning with business strategies. It also supports the Supply team by adapting procurement strategies in response to market fluctuations and assists carriers with loading challenges.

Work Arrangement

This position offers a hybrid working model after completing training, involving three days working onsite in the office and two days working remotely.

Inventory Management Duties

• Consistently monitor designated customers’ tank levels and fuel consumption rates.
• Plan fuel deliveries based on current inventory levels and average daily usage to maintain adequacy.
• Keep track of market trends and adjust delivery timings accordingly to leverage optimal purchasing opportunities.
• Record customer-specific inventory requests accurately.

Logistics Coordination Responsibilities

• Schedule and oversee FTL freight movements from terminals to customer sites.
• Develop strong partnerships with carriers to improve freight coordination efficiency and profitability.
• Adapt terminal sourcing based on arbitrage prospects.
• Exercise sound and independent decision-making within established guidelines.
• Identify secondary carriers promptly if the primary carrier cannot fulfill delivery requirements to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate timely resolution of freight retention issues.
• Ensure daily completion of load and delivery confirmations without exceptions.

Supply Execution Support

• Respond professionally and efficiently to carrier communications regarding loading instructions based on predefined thresholds.
• Implement supply strategies informed by optimization software and market conditions.
• Coordinate with supply management to ensure contract compliance.
• Regularly review carrier lifting accuracy and address discrepancies.

Additional Duties

Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support team objectives.

Position Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: At least one year of dispatch or supply chain experience is preferred, with preference given to those with petroleum industry exposure.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary.
• Personal Traits: The ability to multitask effectively, make financially significant decisions under pressure, adapt quickly to a dynamic environment, and communicate clearly with various stakeholders.

• Hybrid work schedule with required in-office presence post-training.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay range of $24 to $27 for California-based employees.
• Eligibility for a $1,500 annual bonus.
