About the Role

Dishwashers are vital to maintaining the pristine condition of our restaurant, ensuring all tableware, cookware, and the kitchen itself remain spotless and prepared for service before, during, and after each shift. You will be the heart of our kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, ensuring proper sanitation standards are met and promptly reporting any malfunctions.
• Thoroughly wash, store, and rotate all dishes, cookware, glassware, and utensils.
• Manually clean pots, pans, and specialized kitchen items using a three-compartment sink.
• Consistently uphold a clean and organized dish area, kitchen, restrooms, and preparation zones.
• Manage linen and trash removal, including sweeping, mopping floors, and breaking down cardboard boxes.
• Assist with the receiving of deliveries and restocking of supplies on shelves.
• Provide flexible support to the kitchen team to ensure seamless restaurant operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a kitchen setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
• Comfort and capability to remain standing for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Must be reliable, possess a strong work ethic, and be committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
