Job description
Role overview
This is a senior product leadership opportunity based in Canada, supporting a partner organization that will handle applications and all subsequent hiring steps. The role centers on building and scaling privacy-focused digital products that serve a global audience of millions. You will shape product direction, turn complex technical and privacy challenges into straightforward user experiences, and help drive delivery across cross-functional teams.
The position blends strategic leadership with direct product ownership. You will guide work from discovery and concept development through launch and ongoing optimization, while partnering closely with engineering, design, and user research to improve trust, usability, and privacy in everyday digital interactions. The environment is collaborative, data-led, mission-driven, and places strong emphasis on accountability from start to finish.
Key accountabilities
- Set and steer product strategy and delivery for major initiatives, making sure the work stays aligned with company goals, user needs, and business priorities.
- Oversee the full product lifecycle, including discovery, ideation, launch, iteration, and continuous post-launch improvement.
- Work with engineering, design, and research teams to build roadmaps, decide what to prioritize, and ship strong product experiences.
- Leverage data, testing, and user input to shape decisions and improve adoption and performance over time.
- Convert sophisticated technical and privacy-related concepts into clear, simple product solutions for end users.
- Coach product managers and other team members, raising the quality of product thinking and execution across the group.
- Align with internal stakeholders on objectives, resources, and the long-range product direction.
Experience and qualifications
- 10+ years in product management, with at least 4+ years spent in senior leadership positions such as Director, Principal, or Head of Product.
- Demonstrated success launching products for very large user bases, including products with 500K+ weekly active users.
- Strong strategic judgment and leadership ability, with a track record of bringing cross-functional teams together around shared priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A strong analytical and experimentation mindset, using analytics, experiments, and research to guide product choices.
- Ability to simplify complex domains, especially where privacy, security, or infrastructure are involved.
- Well-developed product instinct with a focus on user experience, quality, and product-market fit.
- Comfort building roadmaps, managing competing priorities, and driving execution in fast-moving remote settings.
Compensation and benefits
- Approximate annual compensation of $243,800 USD, plus equity.
- Fully remote work with collaboration across global teams.
- Equity participation tied to the company’s long-term success.
- Chance to lead privacy-centered products that impact millions of users worldwide.
- A culture built around ownership, autonomy, and end-to-end responsibility.
- Paid time off and wellbeing support, including parental leave and help setting up a remote workspace.
- International team environment with travel opportunities for retreats and offsites.
- Transparent compensation approach with equal pay practices across role levels and regions.
