About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is pioneering entertainment and cultural projects within Saudi Arabia. We are seeking an accomplished Director for Infrastructure Planning to spearhead infrastructure initiatives that align with the company's ambitious master development plan. This key position demands strategic leadership and collaboration across multiple departments and external partners to ensure comprehensive infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and align infrastructure planning with Qiddiya’s long-term vision and development objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, architectural, and environmental teams to formulate thorough planning strategies.
  • Evaluate current infrastructure frameworks to find opportunities for enhancement and growth.
  • Engage with government bodies, stakeholders, and consulting firms to obtain necessary approvals and adhere to all regulatory standards.
  • Prepare detailed project proposals covering timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to guarantee successful execution.
  • Track and report progress of planning initiatives, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Cultivate productive partnerships with external agencies and contractors for smooth project implementation.
  • Perform feasibility studies to guide strategic decisions concerning infrastructure investments.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or closely related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Extensive experience (10 to 15 years) in infrastructure planning or relevant fields, especially on large-scale projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of infrastructure design, planning principles, and local regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude with ability to analyze complex datasets to draw operational conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure planning software and planning tools.
  • Professional certifications in project management or planning are considered favorable.
