About the role
Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a strategic and highly driven Director of Finance & Procurement to take ownership of finance and procurement activities across the organization. This senior leadership position plays a key part in strengthening financial control, improving purchasing operations, and embedding best practices that support Qiddiya’s large-scale projects and long-term goals.
In this role, you will shape financial and procurement plans, oversee budgets, improve the use of resources, and ensure all activities follow company policies and regulatory requirements. The position calls for a seasoned leader with deep expertise across both finance and procurement, as well as the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver value.
Responsibilities
- Direct the finance and procurement teams and ensure their work supports business strategy and day-to-day operational needs.
- Create and execute procurement approaches that improve cost efficiency, product/service quality, and supplier performance.
- Supervise planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to enable strong decision-making.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, governance standards, and applicable regulations in finance and procurement processes.
- Lead ongoing improvement efforts to raise the speed, quality, and effectiveness of finance and procurement operations.
- Develop productive long-term relationships with vendors, suppliers, and financial counterparts.
- Coach, guide, and develop team members within finance and procurement.
- Track KPIs and deliver periodic performance updates to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support project execution and broader organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- At least 10 years of combined experience in finance and procurement, including 5 or more years in a senior leadership position.
- Demonstrated success in building and implementing finance and procurement strategies in large organizations or major projects.
- Strong command of budgeting, financial analysis, procurement practices, and contract administration.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proven record of improving processes and driving operational excellence.
- Hands-on experience with financial and procurement systems and tools.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic language skills are an added advantage.
