About the Role

At Zulu Alpha Kilo, our mission is to dismantle sameness; the world needs ideas that spark genuine conversations, not just more advertising. We seek a dynamic professional who can propel our creative concepts beyond the conventional advertising sphere and firmly into culture. This role bridges creativity, storytelling, media, and cultural insight. Working closely with strategists and creative teams from the inception of ideas, you will guide the development of work designed to earn meaningful attention rather than merely purchasing it. This is more than traditional PR—it’s about transforming compelling ideas into truly unmissable stories.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage early in the creative process by applying insights from earned media and cultural perspectives to influence work development.
• Collaborate to design campaigns that are naturally engaging, share-worthy, and ripe for news coverage.
• Craft narratives, hooks, and cultural angles that resonate with journalists, creators, and audiences alike, answering why the idea matters.
• Expand the reach of ideas beyond paid media channels through partnerships with creators, cultural collaborators, and significant media opportunities.
• Build and maintain strategic connections with journalists, editors, creators, and key cultural influencers to amplify our ideas' visibility.
• Support client presentations by articulating how our ideas generate conversation and create impactful cultural presence.

Candidate Profile

• Possess approximately 7 or more years of experience in public relations, earned media, cultural marketing, or creative strategy.
• Demonstrate the ability to work harmoniously with creative teams and senior client stakeholders.
• Exhibit strong storytelling skills capable of transforming concepts into narratives that audiences eagerly share.
• Display a keen interest in cultural trends, media evolution, creator communities, and shifts in audience attention.
• Excel as a relationship builder, nurturing connections that bolster idea dissemination.
• Firmly believe that the most powerful ideas thrive within culture, not just media.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges between $160,000 and $180,000 USD annually, adjusted based on experience.
