Role Overview
We are hiring a Creative Director to lead creative work across foodpanda, foodora, and Yemeksepeti in 16+ markets. This position requires strong hands-on creative leadership and experience in app-first environments. The role sits at the crossroads of creative, product, and marketing, ensuring the brand is expressed consistently across both in-app experiences and marketing channels.
You will guide a large regional creative organization and help shape the next stage of growth by creating scalable creative systems, raising the quality of in-app creative, and introducing AI-enabled production processes.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will oversee creative output across in-app placements and marketing surfaces, build stronger links between brand and product, and create operational structures that support scale. You will also lead creative performance improvements through data-informed decision-making and team leadership.
Creative Leadership
- Direct the creation of strong creative assets for in-app marketing spaces such as banners and carousels.
- Own campaign visuals and brand communication across all relevant channels.
- Maintain a consistent brand presence across every market and touchpoint.
Brand and Product Collaboration
- Work closely with Product and Design teams to bring brand identity into product experiences.
- Ensure creative outputs fit smoothly with product UX and design systems.
Scalable Creative Systems
- Create templates, frameworks, and governance models that improve cross-market consistency.
- Set up processes that make production faster and more efficient.
- Standardize creative delivery across regions and teams.
AI and Creative Automation
- Introduce and expand AI-based and automated production methods.
- Support high-volume asset creation, especially for performance marketing.
- Use workflow automation to improve speed and operational efficiency.
- Apply performance data and other signals to optimize creative output.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary regional team of roughly 35 to 40 creatives.
- Define team structure, working practices, and creative quality standards.
- Encourage effective collaboration among brand, product, and local market stakeholders.
Creative Performance
- Improve the effectiveness of creative work across channels.
- Drive better in-app engagement metrics such as CTR.
- Support performance marketing improvements such as lower CPA.
- Ensure creative decisions are tied to measurable business outcomes.
Qualifications
This position calls for a seasoned creative leader with deep design awareness, platform experience, and the ability to scale creative operations across multiple markets.
Experience and Leadership
- 10 or more years of experience in creative functions, including agency work and/or senior in-house leadership.
- Strong practical knowledge of design, visual systems, and asset production.
- Proven ability to take creative work from idea to execution.
App and Platform Background
- Experience in mobile-first, product-led businesses such as marketplaces, platforms, or consumer technology.
- Exposure to in-app marketing environments and collaboration with Product and Design teams.
AI and Scalable Production
- Hands-on experience with AI tools, automation workflows, or large-scale creative production systems.
- Ability to turn creative needs into scalable, technology-driven solutions.
Cross-Functional Skills
- Strong track record of working with Product and Growth/Performance Marketing teams.
- Clear understanding of how creative supports user journeys, engagement, and conversion.
Operational Strength
- Experience leading large, distributed teams.
- Ability to establish structure, processes, and scalable ways of working.
- Background working across multiple markets or regions.
