Overview
Join a dynamic environment where no two days are alike as a Direct Support Lead. This role involves diverse responsibilities supporting our organizational mission by leading and supervising residential and community staff while providing direct care to individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee staff in residences and community settings, ensuring quality direct care delivery.
- Participate in individual training sessions to align with personal and organizational goals.
- Engage in community activities, orient new employees to the residence, and model exemplary staff behavior with accurate and timely documentation.
- Support recruitment and meet staffing needs of the facilities.
- Evaluate individuals’ progress, coordinate shift objectives, and implement plans effectively.
- Deliver services such as skills training, job coaching, and behavior management tailored to Individual Plans and treatment team recommendations.
Requirements
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent credential.
- Minimum two years of direct service experience in the human services sector.
- Maintain a valid driver's license, current vehicle registration, and insurance coverage.
- Hold current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills.
- Exhibit acute attention to detail with strong problem-solving aptitude.
- Be dependable, responsible, and compassionate in approach.
- Dedication to maintaining high-quality standards in all work activities.
