Role overview
The hiring organization is seeking a Digital Transformation & ERP Consultant for its Jeddah, Saudi Arabia operations. The company is a major logistics and supply chain infrastructure player that delivers integrated logistics services and is working to strengthen efficient, modern, customer-focused operations in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
In this role, you will help drive ERP-led transformation, digitize business processes, and improve operations across logistics and supply chain functions. The position calls for a hands-on consultant who can connect business teams, ERP platforms, IT specialists, vendors, and end users so that technology solutions fit operational realities and produce measurable business impact.
Experience, education, and language requirements
Candidates should bring 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in ERP implementation, digital transformation, business process improvement, or technology-enabled operations. A background in logistics, 3PL, or supply chain is mandatory.
A bachelor’s degree is required in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
English is mandatory for this role, while Arabic will be considered a strong advantage.
Key responsibilities
- Take the lead and provide support for ERP implementation work, enhancements, rollouts, integrations, testing, and the stabilization period after go-live.
- Review existing processes across logistics, warehousing, transportation, customer service, finance, billing, and commercial operations.
- Spot process gaps, manual bypasses, duplicate efforts, control weaknesses, and areas where automation or digitization can add value.
- Create current-state and future-state process maps, SOPs, functional specifications, user stories, and transformation plans.
- Coordinate closely with business users, IT teams, ERP vendors, implementation partners, and senior leaders to ensure the system is practical and adopted effectively.
- Contribute to configuration inputs, master data preparation, UAT, issue handling, cutover readiness, user training, and hypercare support.
- Make sure logistics processes such as order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, shipment execution, inventory tracking, invoicing, claims handling, and contract billing are properly reflected in the solution design.
- Partner on integration needs between ERP, WMS, TMS, customer portals, finance applications, reporting tools, and other digital systems.
- Specify dashboard needs, KPI definitions, exception reports, and analytics requirements that improve operational visibility and decisions.
- Support adoption through workshops, training, process walkthroughs, and super-user enablement.
- Track ERP usage, process discipline, compliance, and user adoption, then recommend improvements where needed.
- Prepare project status updates, management presentations, risk and issue logs, change requests, sign-off documentation, and benefits realisation reports.
Competencies and professional fit
The ideal consultant should understand logistics, 3PL, warehousing, transportation, ports, freight forwarding, or similar supply chain environments. Strong working knowledge of ERP workflows, master data, controls, integrations, and reporting is essential.
You should also have experience supporting digital transformation, process improvement, and operational change initiatives. Success in the role depends on the ability to convert business needs into functional requirements, process documentation, and practical implementation steps.
Strong stakeholder engagement, project coordination, analytical thinking, root-cause problem solving, and the ability to work under pressure are all important. Clear communication, workshop facilitation, documentation, presentation, planning, organization, and adaptability are also key.
