Digital Media Artist

Role overview

This is an hourly remote contract opportunity for an interdisciplinary artist working on creative content that supports AI model training. The role is open to candidates in the United States and requires a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours. Compensation is set at $15 to $65 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and curate strong visual, film, audio, digital, and animation assets for use in AI model development.
• Work closely with teams across disciplines to align creative output with technical and project goals.
• Break down project briefs and add varied artistic viewpoints to training datasets.
• Record creative workflows and explain ideas clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Evaluate AI-generated material and share actionable feedback to improve quality.
• Adjust quickly to changing project priorities and contribute across several creative formats.
• Support experimentation and creative problem-solving within collaborative interdisciplinary groups.

Requirements

• Deep background in at least one of the following: visual arts, film production, audio production, digital media, or animation.
• Demonstrated experience delivering creative work across multiple disciplines.
• Comfort using Adobe Creative Suite, audio and video editing tools, and animation software.
• Strong written and spoken communication abilities.
• Prior experience collaborating remotely with cross-functional creative teams.
• Ability to convert artistic ideas into structured information for AI-related use cases.
• Highly organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple tasks at once.
