Role overview
We are working with a prominent Australian organisation to recruit an experienced Digital Business Analyst to join its digital function in Sydney. This is an initial 6-month contract role within a business-as-usual environment, where the focus is on improving existing digital products, enhancing platforms, and delivering new customer-facing digital features.
What you will do
- Collect, examine, and record business and functional requirements.
- Partner with stakeholders to uncover, assess, and rank digital improvements and platform upgrades.
- Assist in rolling out new functionality across websites and other digital touchpoints.
- Run workshops and lead stakeholder conversations to progress decisions and outcomes.
- Work alongside product owners, UX specialists, developers, and testers.
- Develop user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Support ongoing improvement efforts across digital platforms.
What we are looking for
- Solid background as a Business Analyst in digital settings.
- Hands-on experience across websites, mobile apps, or similar customer-facing digital channels.
- Track record of delivering enhancements, feature refinements, and platform uplift work in a BAU environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Well-developed skills in gathering requirements, documenting details, and facilitating discussions.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
- Prior exposure to aviation, travel, or transport would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with customer experience, digital product, or e-commerce platforms.
