Job description
About the Opportunity
Join an innovative team as a Digital Product Designer and play a hands-on role in shaping the future of health technology. This position offers the chance to guide design work in a SaaS setting and contribute to products that are both practical and transformative.
What You’ll Do
You will help drive discovery work, turn unclear requirements into simple and effective user experiences, and design journeys that support the next phase of the platform. The role calls for someone who can combine user-centred thinking with modern design practices, including AI and automation, to create strong product outcomes.
Experience and Skills Needed
The ideal candidate brings 6-8 years of product design experience, ideally gained in SaaS environments. You should have solid UX research capability, including user interviews and ethnographic research, plus experience running discovery workshops and working closely with stakeholders throughout an iterative design process from idea to delivery.
Strong ability in wireframing, user flow mapping, and systems thinking is important, along with confidence using Figma to design interfaces and build component libraries. You’ll also need to communicate design decisions clearly and advocate for your solutions with different stakeholders. Experience working in cross-functional teams with product, engineering, and leadership is expected.
Benefits
You’ll have the opportunity to influence healthcare technology through thoughtful, user-focused design. The environment is collaborative and fast-moving, with room for your ideas to have real impact. You will work on products that make a meaningful difference in the health sector, and you’ll have a hybrid setup with two days in the office. The role also offers exposure to current and emerging trends in AI, automation, and design practice.
Eligibility
Applicants must be based in New Zealand and hold valid work rights.
