Role overview

The Digital Account Manager will be responsible for growing digital revenue in Jamaica by promoting Digicel Business digital media and customer engagement offerings. This includes Google and programmatic advertising, social media advertising, creative services, and omni-channel messaging. The position focuses on winning new business, growing current client relationships, and establishing Digicel Business as a trusted digital partner.

Core responsibilities

The role combines revenue generation, consultative selling, campaign coordination, and market development. It requires close collaboration with internal teams, active client management, and consistent performance tracking to meet sales goals.

Revenue and growth

  • Achieve the monthly and annual digital revenue targets assigned to the role.
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities in key sectors.
  • Expand revenue from existing accounts through planned account growth and cross-selling.
  • Keep a healthy sales pipeline to support target delivery.

Consultative selling and account leadership

  • Run discovery meetings with clients and shape digital advertising and engagement solutions to match their needs.
  • Prepare persuasive proposals focused on business outcomes and manage commercial negotiations.
  • Serve as the main commercial point of contact for assigned clients, including renewals and upsell opportunities.

Execution and performance management

  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns are delivered smoothly.
  • Track campaign results and lead optimization and review discussions with clients.
  • Handle client concerns quickly to safeguard long-term partnerships.

Forecasting and market development

  • Keep pipeline information and forecasts accurate in Salesforce.
  • Share weekly forecasts and monthly updates on performance.
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders and represent Trend Media at important industry events.
  • Bring market feedback back to help shape products and solutions.

Qualifications and experience

  • A first degree in Business, Marketing, Science, or an equivalent professional qualification is required.
  • Applicants should have 2 to 3 years of experience in sales and advertising.
  • Applicants should also have 2 to 3 years of customer service experience.
  • The ideal candidate must be highly organized, detail-focused, and driven by results.
  • Strong spoken, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  • Comfort with common software tools such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Advanced ability in PowerPoint and Excel is especially important.
  • Experience in digital media sales and/or digital TV will be considered an advantage.
