What You Will Do

You will be responsible for maintaining store facilities to support high-quality service and for helping customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective assistance. The role includes driving, detailing, and cleaning vehicles.

Daily work may involve washing vehicle exteriors with cleaning products, waxing and buffing surfaces, vacuuming interiors, cleaning upholstery and other interior surfaces, drying with air compressors and cloths, and applying protective chemicals to help guard against stains and wear. You may also work with dyes, paints, and waxes for leather or fabric protection, and may clean grease from engines or engine compartments.

You must be ready to take on additional responsibilities as assigned based on operational needs.

Working Conditions

• This is a physically active job that involves frequent bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and repeated entry and exit from vehicles during shifts.
• Work may take place outdoors and in changing weather conditions.
• You will handle and move many vehicles throughout the day.
• Only safe, OSHA-approved products are used, including items such as window cleaner, tar remover, and tire shine.
• The job requires repeated use of the spine, hands, wrists, and fingers.
• You may occasionally need to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs.
• You must be able to receive detailed instructions clearly through spoken communication.
• Good vision and hearing are necessary.
• You should be able to spot minor defects such as streaks, smudges, or missed areas during cleaning and detailing.
• You are expected to inspect both your own work and the work of teammates for quality.
• The role requires a strong sense of urgency and respect for customers’ time.
• Strict compliance with uniform and grooming rules is required.

Compensation

This is a piecework compensation role.

Requirements

Applicants should have at least 1 year of detailing experience, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record. You should be able to learn quickly, read and understand instructions, work effectively in a team, and treat each customer’s vehicle with care and respect.

Reliability is important: you must arrive on time, stay focused while on duty, and be willing to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays when production demands require it. The ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is needed.
