Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Delhi-NCR. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing hardware issues, installing and configuring components, and supporting end-users both onsite and remotely. This role involves hands-on work with desktops, laptops, and peripherals, along with maintaining accurate records and adhering to company safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and resolve hardware problems on desktop and laptop systems.
Install, configure, and test hardware parts such as RAM, storage drives, motherboards, and power supplies.
Replace defective components ensuring devices operate correctly.
Set up and install operating systems and necessary software at a basic level.
Configure and troubleshoot peripherals including printers, scanners, monitors, and keyboards.
Manage cabling and network connection issues related to hardware.
Keep detailed records of assets, repairs, and service activities.
Assist users via onsite visits or remote support as needed.
Follow established safety protocols and ensure repair quality is maintained.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Good understanding of hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with installing and configuring operating systems and common software.
Ability to handle peripheral devices and basic networking hardware issues.
Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
Capability to provide user support through different modes.

Additional Information

This position offers a monthly salary ranging between INR 21,000 and INR 25,000. Work is expected to be carried out onsite in the Delhi-NCR region with no remote or hybrid options mentioned.
