Role overview
The Design Coordinator helps shape a strong in-store design journey by keeping appointments, sales support materials, and store events running smoothly. This role also provides first-line help to customers exploring design ideas and supports Designers with consultations, project coordination, and customer follow-up.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to sales performance and a distinctive customer experience by helping manage appointments and Design Desk projects for customers and Designers.
- Keep sales aids organized and fully stocked.
- Reach out to customers after purchase to continue the service experience.
- Help Designers and store leaders with pipeline tasks and in-store events.
- Support customers on the sales floor and hand them off to Designers when needed.
- Maintain a solid understanding of the brand’s aesthetic direction and merchandising approach across store, e-commerce, and catalog channels.
- Stay current on product details, including features and care instructions, and keep awareness of competitors and market developments.
- Serve as a key contact and maintain coordination with CDST and B2B teams.
- Work toward personal sales, KPI, service, and productivity targets while engaging shoppers using effective selling behaviors.
- Listen carefully to customer needs and recommend products that best fit those needs, while presenting loyalty services.
- Support Designers during in-home and in-store consultations.
- Model friendly, fast, and efficient service with a positive, enthusiastic approach.
- Help train the store team on design services so offerings are clearly understood.
- Assist with larger projects as assigned.

- At least 1 year of relevant experience in retail or customer service.
