Role overview
The store team’s main purpose is to create a strong shopping experience for every customer, from head office support right through to the sales floor. This position is suited to someone who likes to lead through action and is ready for the next step in their career.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager with the daily running of the store.
- Work to performance targets and key metrics.
- Lead, encourage, and help develop the store team.
- Keep the sales floor looking consistently well presented.
- Make sure stock levels are maintained at the right amount.
- Deliver dependable, high-quality customer service at all times.
Requirements
- Leaving Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of management experience in a busy, fast-moving setting.
- A full driving licence.
- Strong motivation to work in a varied, deadline-focused environment and achieve targets.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shift patterns.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager is an advantage, but it is not mandatory if the right attitude is present.
Pay and benefits
The employer offers a clear and competitive pay structure designed to support equal pay across roles. Starting salary is €51,000, increasing to €60,000 after 3 years.
