Role overview
This position sits at the heart of store operations, helping to deliver an excellent shopping experience from the office side through to the sales floor. The role is suited to someone who enjoys leading by example and is ready to take the next step in their career.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager with the daily running of the store
- Work to performance targets and key operational metrics
- Lead, encourage, and support the development of store colleagues
- Keep the sales floor looking well presented at all times
- Make sure stock availability is maintained to the required level
- Provide consistently strong customer service
What you need
- Leaving Certificate or an equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years of management experience in a busy, fast-moving setting
- Full driving licence
- Confidence working in a varied, deadline-focused environment where targets matter
- Strong communication and people skills
- Willingness to work flexible shift patterns
- Previous Assistant Store Manager experience is preferred, though not essential if you bring the right attitude
Salary and benefits
The employer offers a clear and competitive pay structure designed to support equal pay across roles. Starting pay is €51,000, increasing to €60,000 after 3 years.
