Job description
Role Overview
This position is suited to someone who enjoys supporting others, solving customer needs, and creating a positive impact on a team. As a Department Supervisor, you will help associates grow by coaching, training, motivating, and encouraging their professional development while partnering with store leadership, operations teams, and outside partners to meet business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and motivate associates so they can deliver strong customer service, build customer and peer relationships, and contribute to sales growth through solid merchandising and product knowledge.
- Make sure staffing levels are aligned with business demand.
- Support associate performance through coaching, communication, recognition, development, and ongoing feedback.
- Examine sales and other operational reports with the assistant manager and suggest improvements related to inventory, organization, overhead, and cross-merchandising to help drive sales.
- Maintain full stock availability and keep overhead organization plans on track.
- Look into customer concerns, resolve them when possible, and escalate them when needed.
- Share store sales information, events, and promotional updates during rallies and weekly department meetings.
- Ensure safety and asset protection rules and procedures are clearly communicated and consistently followed.

Schedule and Compensation
This is an on-site full-time role in North Bay, Ontario, Canada. The pay range for the position is $23.45 to $25.70 per hour. A flexible schedule is required, including day, evening, and weekend shifts.
