Job description
Role Overview
This position is for a Merchandising Execution Associate at The Home Depot Canada in Victoria, British Columbia. The role focuses on in-store merchandising activities that improve the customer experience, keep product presentation accurate, and support sales and inventory movement. Associates work as part of a team under onsite supervision and serve several departments within the store.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $18.90 to $20.40.
What You Will Do
- Review planograms, project instructions, service requirements, and general guidelines, then set merchandise accordingly.
- Keep merchandise neat, clean, and visually organized so product presentation stays strong.
- Store the latest planogram copy in the proper location near the product set.
- Assemble displays and fixtures with basic hand tools.
- Put up, maintain, order, and replace display materials, signage, and brochures.
- Carry out price and label updates accurately, and replace labels that are wrong, damaged, or missing.
- Keep aisles maintained and serviceable.
- Use store systems to access merchandising reports, interpret the results, and act on the findings.
- Maintain bay service records and related documentation as instructed.
- Complete special projects assigned by store, district, or regional leadership.
- Keep aisles clean and accessible so customers can move through them easily.
- Work with store leadership to mark down damaged or unsellable merchandise.
- Respond to customer questions about the store and its products.
- Collaborate with store associates to help customers find the right products.
- Help inspect returned or damaged items for return-to-vendor processing.
- Follow all safety rules and standard operating procedures.
- Complete the required training program.
- Handle other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

Education and Experience

Reporting and Travel
- The role reports to the Merchandising Execution Supervisor (MEAS).
- There are no travel requirements for this position.
