Job Overview
As a full-time Department Manager at our Rundle Mall location, you will lead and support your team by fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture that encourages creativity and an entrepreneurial mindset. Your leadership will help ensure success for both yourself and the company by embodying our core values.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide your team to deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining high operational and visual standards while actively promoting our products.
- Own your store and department’s performance by analyzing sales, identifying opportunities, setting objectives, and planning to boost results, profits, and manage stock levels effectively.
- Oversee team scheduling, ensuring smooth opening and closing procedures.
- Recruit, onboard, and nurture your team members, fostering a culture that supports growth, inclusivity, and innovation.
- Stay informed on fashion trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to keep the store competitive.
- Demonstrate a positive representation of yourself and the brand in every customer interaction.
Team Collaboration
You will work closely with a vibrant Store Team, including Sales Advisors, Department and Store Managers, Visual Merchandisers, and other key roles. Collaboration extends to the wider Area Team, facilitating shared learning and collective success. Your team’s efforts will help customers express their individuality by engaging with the latest fashion and timeless styles, making fashion accessible and sustainable.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in retail management and operational excellence.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing teams aligned with company culture and values.
- Proficient in sales strategy, analysis, and follow-up utilizing customer-centric reporting tools.
- Confident and integrity-driven leader capable of inspiring and guiding teams.
- Thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments with a solution-oriented approach.
- Dedicated to creating excellent customer experiences and driving product sales.
- Possesses insight into fashion trends, commercial strategies, and competitor analysis.
- Effective communicator who is both creative and inquisitive.
